Sentreal Henderson, 2010's #1 recruiting prospect hailing from Minnesota, has been in contact with coaches in the past few weeks. Hopefully, there will be contributors to this report here.

Good job on the find. I actually introduced this guy several posts ago and there was a "no chance" mentality of getting this kid. I wonder what result became of Bryce Brown when in the beginning it seemed we did not have any shot at him.

Those of you who are keeping abreast at the Robert Marve situation:

There is a report Marve to UT is a done deal. Quite frankly, it would be wise to groom a 1st year QB in the system then a JUCO because the 1st year will grow with the system over time comapred to a JUCO who may be forced to grasp the knowledge of the system in a short period of time. The only exception is Jevan Snead who was already an outstanding QB coming out of Texas (he left because of playing time). So I know that Purdue had a schollie, not an invite to walk-on, on the table so he would be taken care of then paying his way. If I would want to go and succeed, and play against inferior competition, I would go to Purdue.

It is being reported by ESPN that Marve has decided to take the scholarship from the Purdue Boilermakers. This may increase our chances of getting the QB of choice to groom for three to four years.

There was an interview recently of Jake Heaps and he was giving hints about a possible UW verbal. Take it for what is worth. I'm asking myself why UW?

As long as were in his top five I like our chances of getting him. UW is his home state school, sister goes to BYU, Lsu got a couple of good recruits this past signing. I think our chances are very good. As long as he doesnt want to attend school with his sister. I mean what is washington going to do this year.

He currently has five finalists that he has whittled down from a list that spanned of almost 20 colleges. UW, BYU, California, LSU, and Tennessee are his finalists

Sounds like Legaux's stock dropped today. I think we come away with a good QB or two when it's said and done but it won't be any of the big names. There will be absolutely no shame in landing a recruit like Hendrix or Rettig IMO.

This whole state is full of people who need to get a life. Let me explain, I work with someone who buys the Knoxville paper every day to see the sports page, This person has also made the comment that if he had a gun he would like to blow the back windshield out of the car in front of us who simply had a "gator" sticker on the window. The same person has made similar comments about wishing that the opposing teams quarterback would get his leg broke, etc..Now thats a good attitude to have huh?!I live in east Tennessee and I love my beautiful state and used to attend UT games. But something changed. There is an AM talk radio show in this area of which I have been somewhat cornered into having the displeasure of hearing several times over the past several years on my ride home from work. I am saddened by the fact that there are so many " no-lifes" in this day and age who talk about SPORTS like it is IMPORTANT. It's a GAME, face the reality! Also, those guys in their "super-hero" orange tighties are human just like you, except you probably do not have as many marks on your criminal record as they do!Those of you ( And you are many!!) who are so insecure that you put your identity in sports need to get a life. If you people would put the time, energy and money into a worth while cause ( like raising your kids properly...building your broken marriage...visiting your neighbor across the street that you have never met...doing SOMETHING to save this nation from going to hell! ) that you put into "UT sports" well, This world would'nt be in the shape its in. College is great; I've been to two, There's nothing wrong with playing games and having fun, just please do me a favor and remember it's only a GAME! Life has other more important priorities. God have mercy on America!
